First grade students learn about balanced and healthy eating

DSC07113Thank you to Sodexo for inviting the 1st graders into the cafeteria and teaching us about balanced and healthy eating!  The children were so lucky because they also got to do some cooking with The Chef!  They learned how to prepare 3 recipes; a fruit brochette, iced-tea and quinoa salad.

The children practiced cutting, peeling, squeezing, sharing, cooperation and the best, of course, was tasting it all! We thank Sodexo for inviting us to this workshop.
