Grade 10 History students visit European Parliament

Last week, grade 10 Modern History students visited the European Parliament in Brussels. We spent the morning in the Parliamantrium – the role play center – where students took on the role of an Member of European Parliament (MEP). The dynamic, interactive multimedia displays guided  students through the life of an MEP and the impact they can have on our everyday lives.

In the afternoon, we visited the Parliament and were given a tour of the voting chamber. This helped to imbed what the students had learned during the morning activity.
