Grade 6 & 7 discover the magic properties of eggs

In order to prepare for their latest cooking challenge, the students have been discovering the important role eggs play in food preparation by learning about the inherent properties of eggs, and how they contribute to the structure and texture of many familiar recipes. This has involved researching a considerable amount of new vocabulary, discovering their nutritional value, and the surprisingly high number of recipes that involve eggs.

All thus is leading to a cooking challenge which will involve inventing and preparing a special breakfast for somebody that follows the set health guidelines and uses one of the four cooking methods they will be learning in class.
