The St. John’s production of “Bye Bye Birdie” was a phenomenal success with three performances drawing more than 1000 spectators. St. John’s is known for its high-quality productions and the student talent on display. This year’s show only strengthened that reputation.
A total of 68 actors, ranging in age from 10-65 and a crew of 57 students and parents made for a musical that many in the audience called “professional quality”. Volunteer parents built the beautiful set and created the many costumes used in the show.
Mr. Graham, MHS drama teacher, managed to put this show together over a 10-week period, ensuring each of actors confidently played their roles. The result was a highly impressive and beautiful performance that wowed everyone in the audience.
The cast and crew visibly enjoyed being part of the show. Congratulations to everyone involved in Bye Bye Birdie, the school community is incredibly proud of you!
