Grade 4 students travel into the future

As part of their current art unit on art and sciences, Grade 4 students visited Makerstown, a fair that focuses on sciences, innovation and new technologies, where they met with various scientists and inventors.

Students were very inspired by all these creative makers and experimented with different futuristic inventions such as the “screen charger bike”, “the virtual music instruments” or the “virtual reality painting set”.  They had fun participating in a workshop on e-textiles (smart textiles, LED, sensors,…) during which they made a bracelet that lights up, using LED, battery and electrical thread. Students will now create their own inventions for the City of the Future during art classes.
