Using Math in Focus, we are developing concepts of same and different. Each of us took a turn building a tower, the rest were encouraged to build the same tower. It is a hands-on way to practice same and different.
We also practice counting the cubes in our tower to enhance one-to-one correspondence. When building the towers we also reviewed saying our colours. Active participation helps us develop concrete and abstract concepts.
