Creating cool caps in grade 5 art class

In art, grade 5 students are learning about graphic design. They are creating their own unique baseball cap with their monogram printed on it.

Last week, they met with experienced graphic designer Renaud Garnier and learned about the history of logos and monograms. Students have created their own monogram with their initials for which they carefully chose their fonts, colours, composition and shape so as to reflect their personality. Each monogram will be printed on a baseball cap.
